About fall Intake 2023
The fall intake is the most preferred season for students to start their academics. This season falls between August and January every year. This intake provides students with a vast variety of courses to choose from as compared to other seasonal intakes. It also offers International students the to explore various options to work with teachers, and peers and explore on-campus part-time work opportunities. The fall intake 2023 is, however, expected to witness a high competition as many students who were not able to travel abroad due to covid restrictions, will choose to do so now.
Timeline for fall Intake 2023
The academics for fall starts from August but to get into the college and country of your choice is a lengthy process, which requires more than a year of planning and execution.
1. April 2022 - July 2022: Explore your options
To plan your study abroad, begin with exploring your options in terms of the course you want to study, the university that fits your interests and the country you wish to study. The best way to do this is to discuss this with a few counselors who will help you find the perfect course. Then browse through the list of universities that offer your course and shortlist a few universities based on factors such as tuition fees, location, availability of scholarship for international students, etc.
Be sure to make a list of deadlines of all the shortlisted universities beforehand.
2. May 2022 - September 2022 : Take Standardized Admission Tests
This is one of the most important step for your admission process. This step includes attempting all the acclaimed admission tests such as GMAT, GRE, TESOL, IELTS, etc. Have a clear understanding of which exams you need to clear in order to get your admission in your shortlisted universities. Also do check with those universities about the admission requirements before attempting any tests.
3. November 2022 - July 2023 : Prepare your applications and Start applying for Universities
This process begins by initially submitting your application forms and all the necessary documents to the shortlisted universities. Universities abroad require students to submit a statement of purpose, letter of recommendation and their academic records. You might also be asked to submit your resume or portfolio for certain courses or universities. It is crucial to have all your documents in hand and know which documents are to be submitted and their correct format before submitting.
4. January 2023- July 2023 : Wait for response from Universities
By this time all your documents should be submitted and the necessary payments have to be made. All you're required to do now is to wait until you get a response from universities. Universities generally take about 8 to 10 weeks to inform the applicants about their selection or rejection. Some Universities may have their own policies, so be sure to check with them regarding the response.
On the other hand, you can use this time to search for better financing resource options for your studies abroad.
5. April 2023 - July 2023 : Choose right financing and apply for Visa
After you receive your acceptance letter in the shortlisted universities, decide which university you particularly wish to study. Once decided to go ahead and get started with your visa application.
The process for student visas in particular is very tricky to clear. So start early to give yourself enough time to prepare and re-apply for a visa, if needed.
Many universities offer scholarships for international students. Do look for some of the scholarship programs provided by businesses, private foundations and nonprofit organizations to finance studies.

6. August 2023 : Prepare for your Departure
All done and dusted ! Get set to embark on a beautiful journey to study abroad. Do book your airbus tickets 3 months in advance to avoid paying hefty charges at the last moment.
